This was the last year for all of the kids in their respective divisions. Glo, who has been a junior camper for the last three years, will be an Intermediate camper next year. She will give up her navy blue socks. Johannah will give up the infamous red socks when she leaves Intermediates and moves onto high school, and Mark will not be eligible to return as a camper again.
(Johannah especially wanted this photo, because she was wearing her knickers, an Interlochen tradition for any girl camper who is performing. They are the mockery of all camp, and all girls detest them, but no girl can deny that there is some pride in actually finding a pair that "fits" and wearing them throughout a concert.)
