Today, we left the house early and were able to get to the temple in Washington DC to perform baptisms. What a marvelous experience, taking our own names. We had names from the Frank and Matchett families as well as names from John's family (Glassford, Ayearst and Homer). Johannah arranged for all the Kennedy family names while I worked on submitting my family's names. It was a beautiful sight to see the kids doing names from both sides of their families.
Daddy here, it was a beautiful thing seeing Mommy and Ethan and Mark and Johannah in the temple in the baptismal font worthy and ready to be baptized for their dead ancestors. I had a view in my minds eye of people sitting in the room with us and as their ordinances were done, they got up and left to show the work had been done. How beautiful it was to do the work for these family members and how beautiful to be able to feel the spirit of temple work. You all sure look beautiful standing under Moroni.
